A real fisherman. Held the State of Washington record for salmon on a flyrod. Was always fishing. Also hunted often. Also was Stores Manager at Western States Hospital in Steilacoom.

For many years Carl with the Manager Of Sporting Goods Dept, Engers Hardware Store, Tacoma WA. He became quite well known among sportsmen and fishermen.

Was teaching school near Yakima, WA when she met Carl Goodwin and they married in Butte Montana. How and why they were there is subject of research. Daughter Twila was born in Anaconda, MT. Worked for Enger Hardware in South Tacoma for many years, where husband Carl was manager of the sporting goods department.

Lived in a small apartment on South Tacoma way about two blocks from Enger Hardware for many years.

Died in a nursing home near Shelton WA, near her twin sister’s home.

Had seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren, all lived in the Olympia area.
